Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Residential Plumbing Journeyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures in residential buildings. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain residential plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and gas lines.
  • Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues, providing effective solutions and recommendations.
  • Troubleshoot and repair leaks, clogged drains, and other plumbing problems.
  • Interpret blueprints, building codes, and specifications to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with contractors, homeowners, and other trades as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety protocols and local plumbing codes.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid state-recognized Journeyman Plumbing License.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant residential plumbing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good communication skills and customer-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials (up to 50 lbs).
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or evenings.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in backflow prevention or other specialized plumbing areas.
  • Experience in electronic job management and service applications.
  • Experience mentoring apprentices or newer plumbers.

      $27 - $45 (hourly)
