As an AI Innovator at Azurite, you'll have the chance to turn your curiosity and skills into real-world solutions for a leading civil engineering, environmental, land surveying/geomatics consulting firm. This is an early-career position with the opportunity to apply your skills to real-world business challenges. Leverage your curiosity to learn the ins and outs of our operations and explore, recommend, and deploy AI solutions to optimize both technical and administrative processes and workflows.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Learn and Analyze: Gain a thorough understanding of our business processes, workflows, and pain points.

  • Assist in implementing AI strategies across the company.
  • Assess and mitigate risks associated with the development and deployment of AI technologies while ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, cybersecurity, and data governance.
  • Provide input on project processes and execution based on AI technology.
  • Assist the managers with technical writing, data mapping, data visualization, and designing aspects of the project through AI tools.

Research & Explore: Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning. Identify potential AI solutions relevant to our business needs.

  • Bridge the gap between AI technology and the business users.
  • Conduct market research on new AI tools and trends, and identify a solution for integrating this technology with cost-effective measures.

Experiment & Develop: Prototype and test AI applications. This could involve anything from natural language processing and computer vision to predictive modeling and process automation.

  • Develop AI solutions to help the company to improve business practices and internal workflows.
  • Contribute to the preparation and execution of key information technology tasks.
  • Use AI best practices regarding applications in data management, speech recognition, and intellectual property.
  • Develop the manuals and templates in support of the AI tool and raise the level of AI literacy throughout the company.
  • Assist with the improvement and integration of AI tools into existing technology.

Collaborate & Communicate: Work closely with different teams to understand their challenges and propose AI-driven solutions. Present your findings and ideas clearly and effectively.

  • Provide training for new users about AI technology.
  • Assist the managers in conceiving and planning how to implement AI technology into their departments, ensure alignment with business needs, and remain in compliance with Federal, state, and local regulations.

SALARY: $57,000-$66,000 (Yearly)

TRAVEL: Up to 10%

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • High School Diploma or GED required.
    • Bachelor’s degree in computer or information science or related field preferred.
    • 2 years of related experience preferred.
    • Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass the drug test.
    • This role is eligible for remote work.
