Day-to-Day

This position is dedicated exclusively to VOA Texas' Residential Re-Entry Program and is responsible for delivering compliance training, new hire orientation, and regulatory training to employees working within our re-entry facilities.

  • Ensures the organization's adherence to contract regulations and standards through effective training programs.
  • Develops and presents facility orientations effectively & efficiently for all new hires. This includes training such as program rules and regulations, security procedures (pat searches, UA procedures, etc.), FBOB Statement of Work, PREA, and other compliance regulations.
  • Assists in on-the-job training and computer systems (SecurManage, Payroll System, Relias Learning, etc.) learning.
  • Monitors Relias on-line training for completions.
  • Presents or assists in additional in-person training per contract.
  • Ensures training content is up-to-date, accurate, and relevant to regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Ability to use various forms of training tools, such as PowerPoint, Canva, Word, etc.
  • Ensures employees attend scheduled training sessions, manages attendance, and provides necessary logistical support to ensure smooth training delivery. (i.e., HWC, CPR, etc.)
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of all compliance training activities, including participant lists, training materials, and assessment results.
  • Ensures compliance documentation is organized, easily accessible, and available for audit purposes.
  • Generates reports and metrics on training effectiveness, completion rates, and overall compliance training performance.
  • Works in partnership with all accredited certifications to ensure on-site requirements are met.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (Education, Social Science, Human Resources or related field) OR education plus experience OR experience as a learning and development, training manager or similar experience.

  • Experience interpreting compliance requirements and regulations is required.

  • Valid Texas Drivers’ License, clear MVR and ability to be insured
