Bart's Electric | Traveling / Road-Based | We Build People

Ready to build your career in the fast-growing solar trade?

Bart's Electric is a full-service electrical and special systems contractor with a reputation for reliability and service that sets us apart. As a merit shop, we reward performance and dedication with real advancement, not time in a seat. We're hiring Solar Installers to join our service team and work on utility and commercial solar projects across the country.

What you'll do
Install solar systems on the road. Our solar work takes you where the jobs are, so you'll be traveling and working outdoors day in and day out, in the heat and the cold, getting the job done safely and on time.

What you bring

  • Prior solar experience: you've installed at least a 100 kW system or larger
  • Willingness to travel 100% (most, if not all, of our solar work is on the road)
  • Reliable transportation
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Willingness to complete our apprenticeship program
  • Able to lift 60 lbs continuously and work on your feet outdoors all day
  • Comfortable working in all weather conditions, heat, cold, and full sun

Travel and transportation
This is a road-based role, so travel is a big part of the job, but we make it worth your while: drive time is paid and per diems are provided while you're out on projects.

Why Bart's
Merit-based advancement, industry-leading training and apprenticeship, and a safety-first culture. Our "We Build People" mentality means we invest in you and your career.

Pay and benefits
Competitive pay, paid drive time, per diems, Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, paid holidays, and a 401(k) with a generous match.
