As a team member of the ANDRES Operations team, the Assistant Project Manager supports the successful planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. By partnering closely with project managers, field leadership, and trade partners, the Assistant Project Manager helps manage cost, schedule, safety, and quality to deliver projects that meet client expectations and support ANDRES’ continued success in Austin and across Texas.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Execution

  • Overall responsibility for successful completion of project, including punch list, to Owner satisfaction
  • Assist in training Office Engineers and Project Engineers per ANDRES Expectation documents/processes

Cost & Contracts

  • Review and approve subcontractor cost estimates
  • Manage the RFQ process on Procore for distributing drawings for pricing
  • Assist in change orders/change events
  • Negotiate/prepare subcontracts and purchase orders
  • Assist Project Manager in creating the pay application

Collaboration

  • Maintain strong relationships with staff, consultants, architects, and ownership
  • Advocate safety as number one priority on the jobsite and enforce compliance with company/jobsite safety plan, policies, and all safety-related regulations
  • Consistently collaborate with field team to ensure management of project schedule as well as that processes are in place (i.e. Procore inspections, closing SiteAware issues, taking DroneDeploy pictures, etc.).

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3-5+ years of experience in Multi-Family Construction
  • Must walk the construction site frequently
  • Excellent technology literacy
